vendor authentication username/password for accessing API

Hi,

I got sandbox access with a username/password/customer ID. Our company is a vendor providing Partner Screening service. Would the above username/password to access sandbox be used as vendor authentication header in accessing iCIMS REST API?

Are we using the same username/password to access iCIMS REST API irregardless of the various customerID? What I mean by that is: customerID: 1234 and customerID: 4567 can both initiate a status flow update notification with different identifiers, and the vendor uses these identifiers to look up candidate and job details with the same authentication header.

Hello Yiping,

I'm not completely understanding the question, however it seems as though you are asking if the API credentials are universal. The answer to that is no. For each customer project, you will receive new credentials for security purposes, so it is imperative that they are not hardcoded values.
